Europe may be screwed. Thank god we have stalwart economy-boosting institutions like professional football. I am not being sarcastic in the least bit.  NASCAR and the NFL keep whole sections of the population afloat.

I missed a headline: “S&P is pissed,”
Or something, I cannot remember much.
I’m far more occupied with how a touch
Of Brady might affect the Tebow list
Of nearly-perfect victory. The match
Is setting up to break a record, while
East of us, the records perish. Smile,
Though the bad economy's a catch
We're periled for, the money's better here
In good, old-fashioned sports. Observe: you win,
You draw the viewers and the money in,
You get the bigger bonus. To be clear:
The Eurozone may never be the same.
