And Gingrich is behind him, and the lead
In Paul and in Santorum is a blow
That’s heavily excused, and then ignored.
The whole of politics is a denial,
When all officials of the rank and file
Here dismiss a contest when it’s scored
And when they didn’t win it. Marvelous,
Indeed, is such a measurement. The win
Is counted in your favor, and a spin
Is put on any facts that make a fuss
And hamper your conclusion. Battle on,
Ye delegates, when reasoning is gone.
