I’m guessing there’s a worry that again A hurricane and faulty planning, state And federal and local keeping straight The myriad of duties, and the men And women being trapped upon a roof Or on a bridge, or any other thing That made Katrina so embarrassing Would show the watching world there isn’t proof Barack Obama isn’t better for Protecting those Americans from harm When hit with a disaster. Any charm Of an elected leader isn’t more Than weight upon his shoes to bring him down If he allows his countrymen to drown.
