Chicagoland

Emmanuel is fighting any gangs
Engaging one another in a fight
Intended for revenge. The killing might
Upend his quick avoidance of harangues
By all the country loyal to the man
He left within the White House, when he took
A better job as mayor. Any look
At efforts fighting violence, again,
Within the Windy City would amass
A thousand new opinions on a way
To fight the murder rate. But any day
Is often but a guess, and he, alas,
May well be doing nothing to an end
That brings Chicago round, or would it mend.
