Pussy Riot vs. Catholicism

The president is punishing the few
Who called his resignation, in a way
Suggesting that the Devil held a sway
Within their very hearts – ‘if any two
Are gathered in my name, then so am I.’
So says the risen God.  But here are three,
And asking nothing more than to be free
From punishment for voicing any cry
Within a sacred area.  Alas,
The smarter ruling men use other means
To blow dissenting voice to smithereens;
The greatest have their countrymen, en masse,
Enforce the subjugation on their own.
And Russia’s church is casting them a stone.
